This position is being offered in our New Kingston, Jamaica office in which we are looking to hire self-start and highly motivated individual to join our Customer Service and Sales team.
Duties and Responsibilities of a Customer Service and Sales Representative
- Deal with the customers via emails, live-chat and over the phone.
- Listen to the customer queries patiently and solve it. If the problem doesn't seem to solve at your level, then forward the problem to the Support Team for assistance or seek help from manager or other team member to resolve.
- Respond to the problems of the customer promptly.
- Look after the customer accounts and update their transaction status on the software.
- Assist in the drafting of the necessary documents such as training material, videos and FAQ from the customer to better service and support customers.
- Maintain records of interactions with the customers in an orderly manner
- Coordinate with the internal department to find solutions and resolve matters related to servicing and supporting clients.
- Maintain a follow up on the customer, whose query you had solved. Ensure they are satisfied with your answer.
- Help generate new Sales from company's lead base.
Qualification:
- High school diploma or degree AND a bachelor's degree or something equivalent
- Knowledge of customer services ethics, principles and procedures
- Proficiency in computer usage such as general internet tools: email, Skype, Google Docs as well as knowledge in administrative and documentation procedures
- Extra Skills: Knowledge of the US Stock Market or Finance related
Skills:
- Should be able to use the computer extremely well and willing to learn new software very quickly.
- Should have great communication skills: written and verbal communication in English
- Should be able to handle a lot of data that is available, and all of this has to be done at good pace.
- Should have a lot of patience when communicating with the customer.
- Should be able to maintain their composure even if the customer is being rude.
- Should have good listening skills, since most of the time, communication with the customers is done over the phone.
- Should be attentive to detailing.
- Should have the skill of versatility; they will have to adapt to many situations regarding the customer.
